It should be noted that rProtein L binding is restricted to specific subclasses of the κ domain.
Thus the affinity indicated in the Tables is not general for the IgG subclass but accounts only for those
antibodies carrying the right kappa light chain.
**Protein A binds to the fraction of Ig that carries the VHIII isotype
(approximately 10%).
